President Edward Pool is the co-inventor and lead visionary of the BOES
(Borderless Order Entry System). Mr. Pool co-founded DE
Technologies and manages the company's management operations. He holds 32 global patent applications covering "International E-commerce" transaction systems.
He founded INT Traders, Inc. and Universal Shopping Service, Inc., the first firm to pilot and test bed the BOES technology.
He manages the USDOC/CS/FCS deliverable of BOES Technology. Mr. Pool
has worked as an international trade specialist for a Fortune 100
company handling sales, logistics and payment vehicles for N. Europe, Middle East and Latin America.
Prior to his career as a lead negotiator and governmental contracts
specialist, he served as a project manager for over 400 completed construction, manufacturing or implementation projects.
Mr. Pool has worked in sales engineering for heavy construction machinery sales internationally with special emphasis in rigging and heavy lifting for commercial, governmental and military applications.
He has also held the positions of lead negotiator for ocean carrier
logistics and project manager for various prototype developments of crane technology.

Douglas Mauer, co-founder and Secretary Treasurer for DE Technologies, has been a telecommunications management consultant since 1982. He formed Biz Net Technologies in 1993 to focus on developing Internet based commercial services and applications.
A company dedicated to providing unique e-commerce solutions, Biz Net built the first version of Ushop and
Mr. Mauer co-invented BOES
technology.
As a principal of DE Technologies, he also designed and managed the technical aspects of the
ECBS (Electronic Commerce Backbone System) for the Department of Commerce, Foreign Trade Specialists.
Mr. Mauer has been a featured speaker at several National technology conferences. In 1994 Fall Interop, he spoke of his work in the development of the Blacksburg Electronic Village network community. In 1996 and 1997 he spoke at the annual Faulkner & Gray Medical computing conference about integrating secure Intranet and Internet services into hospital computing environments. He
currently declines speaking invitations due to heavy schedule demands. |
